Feminine Luxury at an SLS Lux Brickell Condo
We loved creating a feminine-chic vacation home concept for our client to enjoy while she’s in Miami, and it was a treat to decorate it at the SLS Lux Brickell. This 57-story tower was designed by the renowned architecture firm Arquitectonica and offers breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline.
We are no strangers to decorating in the Brickell neighborhood, which is full of premium shopping, upscale restaurants, and luxury hotels. We completed this Brickell City Centre Apartment Decorating Project at the Reach tower, a few years ago. And we also gave this luxury Brickell apartment at the Icon Brickell, a look inspired by the Milwaukee Art Museum for the young couple living there.
For this project at SLS Lux Brickell, we’ve already shared with you the design inspiration for this feminine Brickell condo, centered around the beautiful orchid flower. Now it’s time to take a look at the final interior details of the common spaces.
SLS Lux Brickell Condo- Interior Details
ELEVATOR FOYER
In the elevator foyer, we wanted to provide our client with pattern and color using minimal yet impactful furniture items to create a “moment” at the entry of the residence.
Orchid-inspired wallcovering in a dimensional neutral palette acts as a backdrop to a sleek and slim metallic console. The console’s rounded edges and gold framing provide a decidedly feminine edge, while a contemporary oval mirror hangs above as a complementary throughline. A slim pendant light provides a warm, ambient glow in the space.
LIVING ROOM
In the living room, classic details with feminine touches create a 5-star-hotel vibe at SLS Lux Brickell. A plush dove grey sofa grounds the room, while a wasabi-colored velvet accent chair provides alternative seating. A stunning dark mirror-paneled screen acts as a focal point of the room, reflecting light to make the whole space appear bigger. The linear elements on the sofa, accent chair and screen are balanced by the curves of the circular coffee table and an arc lamp.
On the walls, textured wood paneling in a rich, sensual neutral provides visual interest and adds a layer of warmth. Beautiful decor pieces, like a forest green blown glass vase and porcelain hand sculpture, add those final details that tie the whole feminine-chic vision together.
DINING AREA
The open living-dining concept allows for a cohesive feeling and flow for our client and her guests. In the dining space, a round concrete and marble table is surrounded by curvaceous contemporary upholstered dining chairs. Overhead, a pendant light display at varying heights creates somewhat of an art installation in the space. The light emanating from the glass globes reflects off of the mirrored accent for an eye-catching effect.
DEN
In the den of this Brickell condo, storage is made chic. Built-in shelves with a light and bright floral wallpapered back flank the floor-to-ceiling cabinet. The cabinet features acrylic door pulls accented with gold hardware. A tufted bench and large mirror on the wall provide even more utility.
Like what you see? Stay tuned for the final details of the bedroom and the reveal of the whole residence!
