Furniture Colors for 2023 Shine at Salone del Mobile
The main reason our design team visits interior design shows is because they are a fantastic source of design inspiration. From the moment we arrive back at our design studio after attending a trade show, we start thinking about where and how to incorporate each trend we were introduced to into the residential projects we are working on.
That’s exactly what happened this year at the Salone del Mobile 2023. We were on the lookout for the latest furniture colors for 2023 and instantly fell in love with the pieces featuring them.
If you haven’t read our blog post, “2023 Furniture Trends from Salone del Mobile to Watch“, we invite you to take a look so you can catch up with the latest trends in interior design. In the article, we share the furniture colors for 2023 that we spotted at the Milan show this year.
The stand out was black furniture with pops of burnt orange and burgundy accent colors. We absolutely love it! This unique combination has already encouraged us to creatively incorporate these accent colors into our own furniture setups.
FURNITURE COLORS FOR 2023
Our lead interior designer, Silvia Parra, has prepared a collection of the pieces that captured her heart and her imagination while exploring the halls of Salone del Mobile. You’ll notice that her picks feature the furniture colors for 2023. Curious to see how? Keep scrolling to see her top five favorite pieces.
FAVORITE PIECES
PAOLO CASTELLI – SARI LOUNGE
This curved leather chair from the Alla Sera collection by Paolo Castelli features a bold silhouette with stylish curves that’s impossible not to fall in love with. The chair’s eclectic design makes it truly unique! We absolutely adore it in this burnt orange color! It would be perfect as an accent chair in a living room, don’t you think?
MINOTTI – CURVED GREEN LEATHER ACCENT SOFA
Warm rust earth tones are among the furniture colors for 2023 that we made note of. This curved sofa from Minotti’s newest collection has made it to Silvia’s top five list as well. The vegetable-tanned leather in a burnt green hue is a perfect addition to any luxurious interior design scheme. In addition, its curved shape makes it ideal for creating an inviting common area because its curved design encourages interactivity.
ART NOVA – FABRIC AND LACQUERED SIDE TABLE
Interactive furniture pieces are also on trend. In the post-pandemic era, we all desire versatile spaces that can adapt to different needs and moods. The BOBBIN side table by Art Nova exemplifies this trend, showcasing its key feature of adjustable height. We once again noticed the trendy orange color that was evident throughout the furniture fair. What made us like this piece? The dual display of the color in two materials, fabric and lacquer, and how perfectly the combination works.
GALLOTI & RADICE – POP OF COLOR CONSOLE
We love incorporating pops of colors into our residential interior designs. When we came across the Gastone console by Gallotti & Radice, we knew we had found the perfect piece to add a vibrant burst of color to our the spaces we are working on. The glossy lacquered wood in Persian red is absolutely stunning!
POLIFORM – KAORI CHAIR
Designed for maximum comfort, the Kaori chair by Poliform is another one of our favorite pieces that showcase the furniture colors of 2023. The chair’s elegant and sophisticated look is achieved through its unique design using two shells: one in leather and the other in fabric in a contrasting tone.
What do you think of Silvia’s top five selections? Are you as taken with these furniture color trends spotted at Salone del Mobile as we were? Stay tuned, since we will surely be incorporating some of these pieces into our interior design projects.
