Luxe And Warm Combining In This Florida New Construction Home

A luxurious vacation paradise on the sunny shores of Hillsboro Beach, Florida – what could be better? Our latest project, a 15,305 sq. ft. new construction home in collaboration with Bomar Builders is coming to life. Having previously designed another home for these clients – a family of four – we knew exactly where to begin. Let’s dive into the plans for their scenic retreat by the sea!

NEW CONSTRUCTION HOME IN FLORIDA

Inspired by the beauty of Bali, our clients wanted their vacation home to whisk them away to a tropical paradise. With this in mind, our home interior designers settled on the concept of “grounded nature,” which will focus on incorporating both natural elements and greenery.

This new construction home sits right on the beach, in a dreamy and breathtaking location. For that reason, the surrounding textures and colors offer a strong influence on the design.

A DREAM WITHIN A DREAM

Relax and breathe… This vacation home is designed to feel “like a dream within a dream”. The elegance of a neutral palette, natural stone, together with rich organic textures form this serene vision. Additionally, clean lines and open spaces create pathways for our clients to feel at ease. There is an emphasis  not only on natural light but also earth hues that sets a tone of tranquility.

As can be seen, the design for this oasis focuses on creating a harmony between materials, light, and shadow. The decor is minimalist, yet warm, with an overall balanced composition filled with symmetry.

MATERIALITY

To bring to life these timeless, tropical-inspired interiors, a foundation of warm neutrals, like beige sets the mood. Also, as accent colors, we selected cool petroleum blue, cognac, and soft browns. These provide an earthy, organic feel throughout the new construction home.

Next, every surface will be crafted from stone, wood, rustic mesh, and other organic materials. One highlight we love is the striking shellstone floors, which are reminiscent of the sand outside.

LIGHTING CONCEPT

Airy and sculptural, the lighting will float overhead. Organic-inspired shapes, soft curves, and unique natural materials define the chosen fixtures in this Florida beachfront home. Creating shadows that dance along the walls and ceiling, these creative pieces enhance the overall ambience.

From the living room, you’ll immediately notice the abundance of not only natural stone but also wood. A large Buddha and a statement staircase are the next elements to greet you with a wave of positive energy. Overall, from the shell floor to rustic touches of cane and travertine, everything is light and easy on the eyes. As a result, the soul feels nourished.

Throughout the home, views of the sea are a top priority. Given that, we want our clients to be able to make the most of their scenic location. For this purpose, window treatments will be left minimal to allow for clear views and furniture will face the sea. There is nothing more calming than enjoying a morning coffee as you admire the waves.
