Site Progress on Our Ft. Lauderdale’s New Construction Project

Walls are going up on the new construction project in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  The single-family residential DKOR interior design project, with Bomar Builders and STRANG Architecture is in full swing. We were just taking the first steps of the design process in the blog post, “A dreamy Fort Lauderdale waterfront home is coming to life!”.  Now we are excited to share the progress of this waterfront residence as the empty lot becomes a developing home.

It is a common misconception that a designer’s job starts when a space is ready to decorate but the truth is in new construction a designer’s job starts with construction. Our residential interior designers take a lot of pride in supervising the design and building of the interior spaces to be sure that our clients receive the functional and beautiful interiors we develop for them.

During the last few months, our design team has been doing periodic site visits to Ft. Lauderdale and seeing the construction site progress.  We are being mindful of the quality of the work in every space and are careful to verify that all items in construction match the plans and interior design specifications.

These site visits allow for opportunities to meet with the other project collaborators to engineer and develop these ideas on plan so that they are successfully implemented working hand in hand with our General contractor and design team.
