CHILDS BEDROOM IDEAS

PET LOVERS

Childs Bedroom Ideas by Miami Designers

If your kids adore dogs, these wall stickers by Yuval Zommer featuring cute illustrations of various four legged friends are an ideal choice to adorn their bedroom wall. What we love is that they add a playful touch without being overwhelming and that, because they are stickers, you can play around the feature wall as you like to create a fun design feature your kid will love.

For lighting, we chose the Bobber LED Pendant by Blu Dot in a cool mustard shade to really make a statement. Depending on the size of the room, you can choose the small version for one awesome light fixture. Alternatively, for a larger space, opt for the large version of the fixture. Or, you can go with two small pendants on each side of the bed for a cozy glow.

To complement the rest of the walls, we proposed a Sherwin Williams paint: SW 7627 White Heron by Sherwin Williams.

UNIVERSE-INSPIRED KIDS’ DECOR

This option is out of this world! It features a space-infused decor selection for the child who has a passion for space and astronomy, using two wallpapers (Twinkle Twinkle Wallcovering Night + KJ50102 by KT Exclusive Usa) that combine perfectly and balance the colors. There are more options to make their universe even more fun.

Our paint color pick in this option is Salty Dog by Sherwin Williams, a deep navy blue saturated with personality. For a special touch we added the BuzziMoon Round Pendant Light in red.

The fixture features a built-in round LED light with an opaque diffuser, surrounded by dense, soft fabric rings, creating the illusion of a full moon. Beyond its cool look, this fixture excels at absorbing nearby sounds, making it a perfect children’s bedroom idea.

GIRL’S BEDROOM IDEAS

PINK LOVERS

Childs Bedroom Ideas by Miami Designers

Pink is one of our favorite colors to use when we design a child’s bedroom. To see for yourself, check out our DKOR’s Favorite Pink Interiors created by our team of Miami interior designers.

What we adore about pink is its playful and versatile nature, with a wide array of available shades. This means that although pink is a popular choice, you can create a unique pink room that reflects your shown style.

For wallpaper, we chose this Swish Wallcovering Sunset featuring soft pink hues as the perfect backdrop for a girl’s bedroom decor. Paired with SW 7004 Snowbound paint color, it creates a charming combination.

For a delicate touch, we suggest using this pendant featuring layers of ivory faux, because it adds a touch of elegance and warmth, making it a perfect female children’s room room decor idea.

NEUTRAL CUTENESS

This last combination is perfect for a nursery. As designers, we recommend using calm, neutral colors in a nursery because they help set up a relaxed and comforting atmosphere for the baby. Not only that, they give you freedom to switch things up as the little one grows.

We selected SW 7004 Snowbound as the paint color choice for this child’s bedroom. But this time, we paired it with a wallcovering featuring shimmering and glittering elements that evoke a flurry of snow. The combination creates a cozy space for both rest and play.

We couldn’t have chosen a better option to complete this space than the Eos Large Pendant Light, which seems to float effortlessly. Its combination of goose feathers and paper material lends a romantic vibe, perfect for a nursery.
