DESIGNING A MEDITATION SPACE AT HOME

Moreover, when designing dream homes, our team always considers our clients’ likes and needs. An empty spot next to the master bathroom was the perfect location to create the peaceful haven they wished for.

Our interior designers thought this space was ideal. Large picture windows let in relaxing water views, making the area feel bright and peaceful.

Because it is located in the master suite, it’s particularly private, and there’s a sliding wooden door that can be opened and closed as needed, creating  a private meditation space at home.

MEDITATION ROOM DESIGN

To realize their meditation room design, our designers in Florida crafted a serene, zen space using calming tones, and including wooden accents to achieve a minimalist and timeless look.

The main element that boosts the look and defines this space as a zen-like area is the wood panel wrap that seamlessly blends with the walls. Together with ceiling details in the same material and tone, it creates a cohesive and calming atmosphere.

On one side of this meditation room, we designed a shelving unit that’s not just for storage.

It also serves as a curated display of home decor objects with soothing colors and scented candles to influence mood, creating a sense of calmness and relaxation.

Additionally, it provides a place to add personal items with sentimental value, creating a space that feels truly meaningful.

On the other side of the room, you’ll notice the cool details on the ceiling that lead down to a niche and platform, crafted from a stone with neutral colors that match the colors of the wallpaper and wood. Additionally, the simple yet elegant design gives the space a cohesive and flowing feel.

MEDITATION SPACE FURNITURE

Our clients wanted their meditation space to include a functional desk for reading and working in a relaxed atmosphere. To meet this need, we carefully picked a few furniture pieces that capture the minimalist look and flow of the overall space.

These selections included a desk crafted from natural wood with clean, essential lines. We wanted that natural connection because it just feels right in the calm vibe of the meditation area.

The choice of wood not only adds a warm and inviting touch but also brings an element of grounding. It blends in seamlessly with the overall zen vibe we wanted to bring to life.

Both the chair and meditation cushions feature hints of green tones, furthering the natural connection we aimed to create.

We incorporated the Orion Tube Suspension light to add soft lighting when needed. It boasts a clean and modern look that complements the overall selections.
