There’s no project our interior designers love more than converting a blank space into a personalized and thoughtfully designed room for each member of the family. When designing bedrooms, we take the time to understand each individual’s personal style and desires in order to create a space they feel connected to and love. This girl’s bedroom idea is the perfect example!

In our “Turnberry Sunny Isles Condo Design” project, our DKORistas conceptualized a charming girl’s bedroom idea that captures the personality of their young client and translates her desires into a calming and elegant bedroom design.

This is how the room looked when we took on the project: a plain space with not much going for it, just an empty canvas. After listening to our client’s needs and vision for her space, we embarked on our plan to turn this blank space around and transform it into something truly inspiring and amazing.

GIRLS BEDROOM DESIGN

In the realization of this girl’s bedroom idea, sleek and elegant custom features take center stage on the main bedroom wall. A romantic and soothing color palette sets the tone, wrapping the room in utter tranquility.

With careful space planning, we ensured that every inch was optimized to provide the young client with a haven she can truly enjoy while doing her daily activities, such as reading or watching TV.

Our Florida-based interior designers worked their magic to bring this vision to life. They hand picked accent wallpaper, selected unique furniture pieces, and added pops of color with their choice of accessories. Keep scrolling down for photos of the final look!

CUSTOM FEATURE – GIRLS BEDROOM IDEA

We wanted to add something that was unique to this girl’s bedroom idea. That’s why we designed a feature headboard wall that is genuinely different and stylish.

Instead of going with a typical design in which the accent wallcovering is applied to the entire wall, we opted to incorporate it into this custom feature, which consists of four bump-out wall slats that elegantly frame the carefully chosen accent wallcovering.

Here is a closer look at the details of our custom wall design. You can see how the two wallpaper selections perfectly complement it, creating a dynamic look. You’ll notice that the chic geometric chevron pattern on the accent is virtually seamless. It creates such a warm look!

On the other side of the headboard wall, we created a bespoke lighting installation that perfectly balances the overall design. To achieve this, we incorporated two Kelly Wearstler Melange Small Elongated Pendants. What we love about these fixtures is their striking combination of metal and alabaster shades, creating an eye-catching detail.

Keeping the girl’s interests and desires in mind, we added a cool reading corner. We accomplished this lovely setup with a splash of greenery, a comfy swivel reading chair which can change directions so our young client can enjoy the view, a handy side tool, and a mirror. She can find specific spots to enjoy at different times of the day thanks to this awesome girl’s bedroom idea.

The mirror not only serves as a handy spot where she can check out her favorite outfits, but also adds a sense of spaciousness to the bedroom by reflecting the stunning headboard wall.

DETAILS OF THIS GIRLS BEDROOM

Here you can see two rich details of this girl’s bedroom idea that help to create the beautiful design. First, the Moondance Poltrona Frau drawer with its luxurious leather accents! Second, the captivating wallcovering with broad strips of jute adhered together, creating a beautiful and subtle effect where the edges overlap. These details add depth and elegance to the girl’s bedroom, making it totally unique.
