A Nature-Inspired Living Room Reveal

It’s time for a living room reveal! This beautiful living room is full of unique, colorful, and unexpected details. As part of a Fort Lauderdale condo we designed, we created this luxury space with coastal inspiration in mind. Everything revolved around the breathtaking ocean view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. This inspired our organic modern design for the whole condo. LIVING ROOM REVEAL – THE DESIGN

The goal when designing this room was to make it feel beachy, organic, and soft, but in the most unexpected way. We accomplished that by incorporating unique textures and elements inspired by the natural curves of sandy beaches and the ocean waves. Want to know more about our design plan for the entire condo? When it came to the layout, we wanted to create a feeling of effortless flow. The curved sofa acts as a creative divider between the dining area and living space, defining each area while maintaining easy movement from one space to another.

FURNITURE & DECOR

More details about the living room reveal: the furniture and the decor. This space acts as the formal living room of this Fort Lauderdale condo, but the client wanted all of the furniture pieces to be extremely comfortable. Our client also didn’t want a standard built-in carpentry piece, so our design team developed a beautiful curved screen TV unit that aligns with the curvy designs found throughout the space.

 

One of our favorite elements of this room is the unexpected pops of color. Throughout the living space, soft earthy tones pair with black accents and yellow statement pieces, like the yellow lounge chairs. They feature a unique silhouette along with luxurious velvet upholstery.

Everything in this living room reveal is unconventional and beautiful. Our designers combined a big ottoman with a custom coffee table for a one-of-a-kind focal point. It creates a casual, inviting vibe that’s ideal for lounging and entertaining with guests.

We also considered the light and airy feel with our lighting selection. Overhead, a vertigo pendant light makes a sculptural statement.

 

 

Additionally, we installed a large piece of wooden wall art on the wall that leads to the primary suite. We did this to add more movement and texture to the space. And, the white ties in perfectly with the white pendant light.

Finally, we love how this one-of-a-kind, organic modern living space came together. It’s a beautiful living area where the client can relax and entertain next to a stunning ocean view.
