Miami Designers get geared up for Salone del Mobile 2017
There’s only one week to go until the 56th edition of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile Milano opens its doors!
The DKOR team is taking their annual trip to Milan, the capital of furnishing and design, to attend the annual international exhibition Salone del Mobile 2017. This year’s edition of iSaloni will run five parallel exhibitions at the Fiera Milano Rho from Tuesday 4th to Sunday 9th April.
In a few days, we’ll be getting the latest interior design trends first-hand thanks to our group of DKORistas that will be sharing with us all the details straight from Italy.

We can’t wait to explore the Rho fairgrounds and find what’s new in the world of today’s most famous designers and luxury design brands. Some of the specific booths we can’t wait to see are Baxter, Cattelan Italia, Gattolli&Radice, Minotti, and Poliform.
During the most awaited week by international designers there will be infinite design installations and events. Not surprising since you’re talking about the largest design trade fair in the world! For that reason, we’ve prepared a list of the principal exhibitions taking place next week in Milan to give you a better idea of what to expect to find at Salone del Mobile 2017.

Salone Internazionale del Mobile
With more than 1,300 exhibitors spread over 150,000 m2, in this exhibition you can find everything about classic furniture and furnishing accessories. The Salone Internazionale del Mobile is split into three sections: Classic, Design and xLux (section devoted to timeless luxury reworked in a contemporary vein).
International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition
Details make the difference. Looking for home accessories trends? Be sure you stop by some of the 200 local and international exhibitors to get to know all about top of the range accessories, objects and textiles for the entire home.
Euroluce
Recognized as the global benchmark lighting exhibition. You can find the very latest devices for outdoor, indoor and industrial lighting to lighting for shows and events, hospital lighting and special use lighting and light sources at Pavilions 9-11 and 13-15.
Workplace3.0
An innovative exhibition area devoted to design and technology in workspace planning. It showcases the finest products designed for procurement plans, reception areas and office spaces. (Pavilions 22-24)
SaloneSatellite
The most important event in the design world for young designers. Its goal is to promote creative potential of designers under 35. (Pavilions 22 – 24)
