While we always come up with designs that are super comfy and practical, having fun is right up there on our list too. We want to give kids a place that’s full of life and happiness, where they can grow up in a cheerful, happy and enjoyable atmosphere.

Color is one element that really helps us bring fun into kids’ bedrooms, especially when we experiment with bright, vibrant tones. Our design team enjoys playing with different shades to create that perfect, playful atmosphere that kids will adore. BEDROOM DESIGN – FIRST STEPS

Let’s delve into the details of this unique purple bedroom design. The first consideration was the layout. We needed to incorporate storage and a desk for this little girl, providing spaces for both homework and creative activities.

The next step was to dive into material selection. Paint was our go-to, which we combined with a color blocking technique to make this purple room design really stand out. Below, you can see how this design choice makes a bold statement in the room without the need for any other material as the base of the bedroom.

GIRLS BEDROOM – FURNITURE

To balance the splash of color in the color blocking, we selected furniture in neutral tones. This includes the bed with a softly curved headboard, dresser, and nightstands. This ensured we created a visually pleasing contrast that brings a sense of balance to the girl’s bedroom.

We added a fun twist to the purple bedroom by adding some cool pendant lights on either side of the bed. These hanging lamps in bright yellow and pink really match the playful vibe we were aiming for in this purple bedroom.

THE LITTLE MAGICAL TOUCHES

A bedroom doesn’t truly come together until you add those little details—the accessories. And when it comes to kids’ bedrooms, choosing the right decor is key, because it gives you the freedom to incorporate playful elements with items that can be updated over time.

For the accessories, we selected an adorable, handmade wool felt swan head designed by Sew Heart Felt for RH Kids, along with dreamy rainbow bedding, playful mustard shams, and a heart-shaped pillow, which really reflects the love we put into creating this bedroom.
