Award Winning Interior Designers at Coverings 2017

Our award winning interior designers are back home after attending Coverings 2017, the largest tile and stone trade fair in North America. As you can imagine we have so many great things to share from this highly anticipated stone and material exhibition!

DKOR’s interior designers found fresh new tile trends driving the design industry but this wasn’t the only reason our design team attended the event. DKOR Interiors was recognized this year for Outstanding Residential Tile Design at the Coverings Installation & Design Awards. The design team along with the general contractor, Joey Newman of Newman Brothers Construction accepted the award at the CID Awards ceremony Thursday, April 6th at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

We are honored to add this award to our list of Coverings recognition’s. Last year we won in the “Residential Tile Design” category with our Fort Lauderdale Residential Project “Contemporary Waterfront Elegance”. Award Winning Interior Designers - Coverings 2017 — *Porcelain tile from Atlas Concorde’s mark collection was used on the general flooring downstairs*

DKOR’s Contemporary Twilight project was the winning entry in the category of Residential Tile Design at the Coverings Installation & Design Awards 2017. Our Miami residential project was evaluated by qualified design professionals who choose the winners based on execution, original usage, and overall design. It is truly a great honor to have been selected for this design award!

The DKOR design team selected beautiful materials for the home like warm woods, modern concrete, and subtle stone patterns. The materiality included Italian tiles throughout the two-story Miami residences’ flooring and bathrooms both interior and exterior. Using Italian tiles allows our award winning interior designers to achieve a sophisticated and unique look. Take a look at the final spaces of our winning project!
