Wayfair’s 2016 Trade Tastemaker Awards at the SLS in South Beach

On March 10th 2016 our Florida interior design team got dressed up to attend the annual Trade Tastemaker Awards ceremony at the SLS Hotel in South Beach.  The Wayfair Trade Service team invited our group of DKORistas to join the annual celebration that recognizes innovative interior designs.  Wayfair.com’s trade service program awards the top interior designers for their distinctive and remarkable talent expressed through unique and fresh residential and commercial interiors at this cheerful awards party.

This year’s distinguished and expertise judges, Barclay Butera, Mat Sanders, and Jenni Pulos looked through more than 5,000 submissions to find the best examples of creativity and innovation in the following categories: Designer of the Year, Best Commercial Space, Best Entertainment Space and Best Use of Color.  For the first time, this years contest allowed design fanatics to vote on their favorite interior designs and honor the most favorite  interior designers with the People’s Choice award.

Submissions are open to credentialed interior designers, architects, and home staging professionals registered as members of the Trade Services. Next year the DKOR team will look forward to participating and will submit some of our interior design projects designed by our Florida interior design team!

Our Florida interior design team had so much fun on this enjoyable evening at the SLS Hotel in South Beach  enjoying the company of other talented interior design professionals, delicious appetizers, and specialty cocktails.  We loved the photo booth and got our whole group together for the camera and posed with the props!
