Interior Decoration Making a Big Impact in a Miami Beach Condo

In this interior decoration project in Miami Beach, we refreshed an elegant penthouse vacation home for our clients: a young, active family of four. The clients wanted their home to reflect a modern, neutral “Miami” palette — with pops of color, of course — in a functional, comfortable space for their family and friends.

We focused on the living room and dining room, and just this refresh made a world of difference. By creating a cohesive design between these two spaces, we made the home flow better and feel very elegant. Furniture and home decor products were purchased for this interior decoration project, but we also used existing pieces — this mix creates a designer feel with a smaller project scope.

LIVING ROOM

In the living room, a better furniture layout, plus a stunning focus wall, makes the space ready for friends and family to get together.

Because the family enjoys spending time together in the living room watching football games and hanging out with friends during their weekend trips to Miami, the design team enlarged the space by opening it up through a creative layout.

Two seating areas were also added to the common areas of the condo, allowing for more space to lounge. In the first, located between the kitchen and living room, we added wallpaper, a lounge chair, and a side table to create a comfortable space to sit. The second one, located between the living room and dining room, provides even more seating options.

In another transformation, our designers wanted to give the living room a ‘wow’ factor — adding a TV unit did just this, elevating the look of the space.

The focus wall was created with the addition of wallpaper, custom carpentry, a shelf unit from IKEA and a Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams bookcase. Our designers used their creativity to create this stunning design feature, mixing custom and in-stock options.

DINING ROOM

In the dining room, the big change was swapping out the existing table for one with more seating.

The new oval table can seat up to 8 people comfortably, or more if necessary.

We kept the stunning chandelier and artwork but added a new rug plus some beautiful greenery and flower arrangements for a final touch, which instantly livens up the space and makes the whole design feel complete.

In addition to the interior decoration of the living room and dining room, we also worked on the outdoor furniture selections — the views from this condo are amazing and we wanted to allow the family to enjoy them in style.

Isn’t the transformation incredible? Check out some of our other interior decoration projects here.
