Seen at Salone Del Mobile: Interior Color Trends 2019
New trends are constantly emerging in the interior design world, and it’s important for us to stay on top of the latest and greatest so we can adapt and implement these ideas in our current and upcoming residential projects. We love to go to the major interior design fairs across the world for just this reason.
Trends in color always get us excited. Color is key in interior design, and a color palette is one of the first elements we define in our design process. Colors help us set the mood and feeling we want to achieve in the interiors we create.
Last month, our DKORistas attended the 58th edition of Salone del Mobile Milano at Fiera Milano Rho. As expected, these were days full of inspiration for our team. It’s always fun and inspiring to see how each brand sets up their booth and presents their new launches. While exploring the booths we can spot the colors and materials the brands will be using. Wondering what colors were hot at this Salone del Mobile Milan edition? Check our interior color trends 2019 report below.

Color Combinations
The overall concept for color pairing that dominated this year’s Salone del Mobile edition was pairing a soft feminine tone with a warm earthy tone.
About four years ago at Salone del Mobile, vibrant pastel colors were everywhere. These are colors that for residential interiors can be a bit intimidating. At DKOR Interiors, we strive to create interiors that are unique but timeless, so this year’s combination of muted pastels with earthy tones felt like a more approachable way to incorporate color into a home.
Burnt Rose with Sage Green
Lilac with Caramel
Dusty Blue and Terracotta
