A Pink and Precious Little Girl’s Bedroom
In a home that uses every color in the rainbow to adorn its walls and decor, it makes sense that the little girl’s bedroom would be perfectly pink. This modern wonderland-inspired design intent uses colors to elicit feelings and emotions in the residents, and pink is meant to bring out caring, compassion, and love.
This lovely girl’s room encapsulates those emotions—the family’s matriarch worked hard to ensure each kid’s room fit their personalities and would continue to spark their creativity. (Check out the little boy’s sports-themed room!) Follow along as we explore this adorable space.
In the original design intent (as in the final product), whimsical butterfly wallpaper dominates the space with its sweet femininity. It sets the tone for the whole little girl’s bedroom perfectly.
Our founder and principal designer, Ivonne Ronderos, says of the wallpaper,“This was really inspired by our client and her creativity. She wanted to promote her kids’ imagination and not play it safe.”
Little Girl’s Bedroom – Final Look
This girl’s room certainly doesn’t play it safe! No detail is overlooked, from the unicorn accessories to the Parisian-inspired gallery wall arrangement; it’s bursting at the seams with cuteness. A modern, big-girl bed balances the more traditional and girly elements in the room.
Above the bed floats a feathery, cloud-like pendant light, while the duvet mirrors the diamond-shaped molding on the modern chair railing installed behind the bed. Piles of plush pillows provide a cozy spot for the room’s resident to cuddle up with a book or stuffed animals.
To the right of the bed is every little girl’s dream: a pretty vanity complete with a faux fur chair. It’s perfect for practicing applying makeup, but, more practically, it can also double as a nightstand.
Across from the bed is an adorable setup: Parisian-inspired wall art featuring the city’s signature sweet treats hangs above a pretty table for two. Picture a little girl having tea time or an art class at the table! To the left is an armoire to house her dress-up clothes. It reminds us of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, right?
Our Bal Harbour’s interior design team is super happy with the final look of this little girl’s bedroom. It’s perfectly girly with pink and gold touches, but the gray hints balance it out.
