Modern Home Bar Design in Luxury Sunny Isles Condo
We’ve been making our way through the design process of this Sunny Isles condo, the perfect new home for our clients, a couple who love spending time with family and friends. Their condo, in the Château Beach Residences, is full of rich woods, natural stones, and a luxurious air.
We’ve shown you the kitchen design, the living room design, and the master suite design, as well as the color palette and material inspiration for the overall design. Now, it’s time for the home bar interior design.
Modern Home Bar Design Intent
Final Look
Our clients wanted to have a home bar somewhere in their new condo, but the available location for it presented a challenge for our DKORistas. The space was right in the entry foyer, and the clients did not want the bar to be right in their faces when they walked into the apartment.
For the design, they wanted something different and original, but most importantly, functional. They enjoy hosting family and friends — this was also an important factor in the modern kitchen design at this Sunny Isles condo — so ensuring that everyone could gather comfortably was important.
To fulfill the clients’ dream, our design team created a hidden modern home bar design with sliding doors to completely close it off from view. Rimadesio sliding doors were the perfect solution, not just because they’re functional, but because they match the modern style throughout the home.
The design team worked with a local carpenter to create built-in custom bar units. We, of course, made sure to include all of the essentials of an equipped bar — including a wine cellar, ice maker and beverage fridge — plus the storage needed to have everything in one place and easily accessible.
Interior Details
As the perfect backdrop, the bar itself has a silver wave marble stone on the back wall. The home bar island features a beautiful stone highlighted by an LED panel. And adding a pretty pop of color, are the Potocco spa bar stools for seating. This design allows our clients to use the area for casual conversation while catching sports games in the comfort of their own home. The bar size is perfect for snacks and drinks. On the back wall of the bar, stone frames either side of the TV for an interesting textural visual element. Wallcovering was applied to the walls to enhance the space and create a warmer look overall.
What do you think of this modern home bar design? Great, right? Make sure you check out the rest of this home’s design for more inspiration.
