We loved transforming this Miami condo design—a retirement home at Château Beach Residences, a luxury high-rise in Sunny Isles—into a contemporary oasis for our clients as they transition into a new stage of life.

Previously, we shared the design inspiration of this Miami condo design here. The concept, “Illusions on the Horizon,” draws from the luminosity of the sun reflecting on the water. The design features a color palette grounded in neutrals and accented with shades of a sunset, like copper and navy. A mix of materials — including glass, marble, concrete, and distressed wood — bring depth and layers of texture to this modern living room as well. Walk into this Miami Condo and you’re immediately welcomed by warmth. Two Minotti armchairs and a Minotti sofa frame the living area. Beautiful, lush, rust-colored upholstery covers the chairs, while the sofa is wearing a chunky, tactile woven fabric in a cream colorway.

A contemporary two-tier coffee table with metal framing and a bronze glass top acts as the center of the space. Also, round nesting tables act as a useful accent and a nice juxtaposition to the angular coffee table. In addition, abstract tabletop decor in bright pops of metallic acts as the room’s jewelry.

Underfoot, an area rug in a serene, ocean-inspired pattern pulls the whole color scheme together. The palette of the home decor, like the throw pillows, also ties into the artwork to provide a cohesive look for this living room design in a Miami condo design.

Two additional eye-catching elements make this Miami condo design as unique as our clients. A stately sculpture brings a cultured element to this modern living room. Behind it, the wow feature of the room is a statement pendant display. This customizable Mizu light from Terzani acts almost like an art installation, twinkling in front of the wall.
