Getting the Process Started

If you are about to begin or have already started the process of creating your home away from home, you’re aware of the time, commitment, lots of decisions and logistics that the design process requires. It’s no easy task, and we understand that you might be overwhelmed! Bringing an interior designer on board to help you beautify your property is key in relieving this stress. We talked about why hiring an interior design team to help is a great idea here.

Now, that you’ve made the decision to work with an interior designer, the next step is to find the right one for you. Your ideal design match will be someone that aligns with your needs to create the vacation home interior design of your dreams. Our Miami design team’s goal is to make the whole process of creating your getaway home a fun and easy experience delivering a lovely and comfortable space completed with everything you and your family need to enjoy your downtime.

How DKOR Interiors Can Help You

Creative Design Solutions

You might want a fresh and creative design for your second home. Our talented designers have the vision, along with the technical skills, to bring to life creative design solutions based on your lifestyle. We’ll help you create a design that’s uniquely yours!

Sophisticated Getaway – A 3,500-square-foot blank canvas awaited our design team when we stepped into this condo in the Sayan Condominium complex in Sunny Isles. Our clients desired simple, coastal modern style for their Miami home. Our interior design concept included a color scheme of vibrant palm tree greens and sparkling aqua blues popping against the vanilla-hue of sandy beaches, natural materials, and a relaxing mood.

Waterfront Penthouse – For this 4,000-square-foot project in a luxury waterfront penthouse in Fort Lauderdale’s Landings in Las Olas, we were inspired by our clients’ collection of pre-Columbian artifacts and their desire to remodel their home. Our concept of old-world elements breaking through new-world components worked perfectly for them. We combined contemporary details—clean lines and crisp white walls—with traditional elements—wing back chairs and tufted upholstery—to create our clients’ dream vacation home.

A Complete Team to Help You

Providing more than just a beautiful design, our bilingual team will help you put together a plan and execute it. As a result, you’ll have a successful project, completed on time and within budget. Receiving, following up with vendors, supervising installations, etc. can be difficult while you’re away, but don’t worry, our team will handle everything.

Easy Process for International Families

Our methods allow us to work and communicate remotely with families around the globe. We make the process easier by sending samples and giving presentations over the phone or video chat. Our design team understands the importance of having a few face-to-face meetings, too. We like to have these meetings, particularly in the beginning when we are learning what your needs are and getting to know each other. So, we travel to meet with clients if necessary as well.

Relationships and Knowledge of Local Vendors

With 15 years of experience, our design firm is among the top residential interior design firms with projects concentrated in the South Florida region. We have a deep understanding of the market and have created strong relationships with the best local vendors. Therefore, we can offer better discounts (yes, we pass all of our designer discounts to you!), and provide more options to our clients.

Experience on Similar Projects

Our Miami interior design team specializes in working with international families. We work with them, either creating their primary residences outside Florida or vacations homes in the sunshine state. We’ve been working on vacation home projects for years and have learned a lot along the way. Many of these projects have been recognized in different media outlets. Take a look at these Miami vacation homes featured in an international magazine. Scroll down to see more interior spaces from our past projects. And don’t forget to let us know your favorite!
