DKOR’s interior design team has designed nurseries and children’s bedrooms for many of our clients.  Recently, we had the opportunity to work with two teenage girls to design their personal teen spaces.   These young girls had outgrown their childish rooms and were ready to have spaces that reflected their individuality and changing needs.

Teens spend the most time in their rooms and the spaces need to be cozy and functional. Try Colorful Wall Papers instead of Paint

Although a new paint color is an easy change, wall coverings are the new decorative option we recommend trying.  Some products out there are easy to install and easy to remove. There is also an immense amount of options in prints and patterns that can get your teen involved in the process.

Adding a fun or eye catching light fixtures is always recommended as the best decorative option when remodeling any room.  Most light fixtures are so simple to install and can instantly add a pop of color to a teen space.
