Turning Mediterranean into Contemporary

Many of our Miami interior design projects originate from Mediterranean style homes. This was an architectural style that was largely popular in both California and Florida in the 1920’s and 1930’s. It was also preserved through the Art Deco period that defines Miami and Miami Beach today. It created a challenge for top interior designers as the modern and contemporary movement became increasingly in high demand.

In the early 2000’s, the modern movement caught on quickly and was soon at the demand of most interior designers and architects in Miami. Today, we thought we would share the “before” photos of our latest project – a common South Florida Mediterranean home as well as the Design Concept behind it’s transition into a modern marvel.

Stay tuned for the final product!
