Top Three Modern Side Table Designs from iSaloni 2016
Hello DKORistas, we loved our recent experience at Salone del Mobile furniture fair in Milan. The week long exhibit brings together design lovers from all around the world to be the first to preview the upcoming interior design trends in the year ahead. My personal experience with our DKOR team at this international furniture fair was so memorable. As our team of interior designers walked through the more than 1,300 exhibitors booths we found great inspiration for our upcoming projects and were able to see high quality, modern furniture in a wide range of styles.
There was an abundance of breathtaking furniture clusters and also single accent furniture pieces. The side tables on display caught my attention because I know firsthand how important these accent details are in the big picture of any interior design project. Accent side tables are a striking and helpful way to tie a space together without needing to be the focal point in the room.
Accent tables are not only functional décor pieces. These stylish items can make an impact in the look and feel of a home interior. Mixing these pieces into a room is a great opportunity to bring in different special touches and use of materials. Here are my top three designer side tables from this year’s international Salone del Mobile in Milan.
Three Modern Side Table Designs From iSaloni 2016
WAVE STOOL AND DUO TABLES FROM HAYMANN EDITIONS
The Haymann Editions duo tables and stools add a stunning metallic finishes to your home without overdoing it and in a simple way that I just loved. They also offer the Duo table, featuring a unique combination of a glass vase and wood top. Enhance a simple corner with either one of these options and a little bit of greenery or books.
GALLOTI & RADICE
Another home furnishing combination that I loved was the one presented by Galloti & Radice. The gorgeous marble side table was paired with a taller metallic side table and a luscious green velvet ottoman. The unique combination really highlighted how to mix materials and colors. The ottoman brings up a pop of color in a very elegant way and adds an extra setting, ideal for those special occasions when guests visit your home.
“LA CHANCE”
Single options, like the table from “La chance”, may adapt better to small spaces that do not have enough room for a clustering of modern side table designs. This furniture company is based in France has a table for marble lovers like me that you are sure to have a crush on. Classic marble materials added an elegant finish to this very chic and modern table design.
