Over the past few years our Miami Interior Designers have been flying across the world to attend the Salone del Mobile in Italy, the largest furniture fair on Europe, always finding new and awesome interior design inspiration with products of Italian excellence.

We were so happy when we found out that this international home furnishing showcase was participating for the first time during this Design Miami/ Art Basel week. As part of the preview days, one of the events we were so thrilled to be part was the Salone del Mobile – Milano Meets Miami gala dinner; a big and elegant dinner on Tuesday December 1th in Perez Art Museum Miami, where over two hundred people including experts, journalists, designers as well as different artists and fashion stylist met.

Our Miami interior designers had an amazing opportunity to enjoy a lovely and pleasant evening with wonderful company, including Roberto Snaidero, Salone del Mobile’s president.  A great opera singer adds up magical tones to the night and delicious food was served while Miami was red- colored celebrating Italian excellence.

This was just the start! The event had 46 italian exhibiting companies and was produced in partnership with the Ministry for Economic Development and ICE – Italian Trade Agency.

The 55th Edition of the Mobile Milano will be held from 12th to 17th April 2016. This year composed by different exhibitions like Salone Internazionale del Mobile, International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, Euroluce, Workplace3.0/SaloneUfficio and SaloneSatellite.

It was a pleasure to have and enjoy this Italian Excellence in our city and we can’t wait to meet again at Italy next April! DKORistas you’re going with us! Be ready!
