DKOR’s interior design project “Designed Volumes” was described in detail by MOVATO author, Susan Kelly. In her article titled “Make room for a baby”, Kelly summarizes the design process that our interior designers followed to achieve a complete renovation of this Miami Contemporary Home for a family of seven. Our team had the opportunity to oversee the entire interior design of the home and created interesting angles and volumes inside the spaces of the two-level residence.
A while back we shared with you the story behind this unique residential project “Designed Volumes”. Look back at this Miami Contemporary Home in the home tour online at the DKOR Living blog and see all the spaces designed for each family member.
On this interior design project, like all projects, we learned once again to always anticipate the unexpected. The clients discovered they were expecting another child during once we were well underway with the design process of their home. They shared the happy news with the design team and hoped our team could accommodate a new arrival into the design plan. Susan Kelly’s article in the South Florida Home magazine’s highlights this special change to the design in a behind the scenes look.
