Mediterranean style home revamped by Miami Design Team
Beginnings of projects are always full of enthusiasm and delight. The start of an interior design project is a phase our DKOR Design Team really enjoys. This important phase of the project that allows us to get to know our clients’ needs and preferences and we get absorbed in learning their story. The insight into their lives is the foundation for our Miami Design Team to begin designing our clients dream home.
A Harbor Beach couple contacted us last year who were seeking to add a modern, fresh touch to their Mediterranean style residence. On the southeast side of Fort Lauderdale, their Mediterranean home was adorned with countless memories and collectibles from their travels and life experiences that inspired “The Silk Road” design concept.
The interior renovations incorporated the concept of blending the rich artifacts with new modern touches allowing our team to preserve the essence and personality of the family. In keeping with the design concept, we injected classic, sexy, monochromatic and ethereal elements highlighting our client’s journey. We developed spaces with a design that links the different cultures and countries that have been influencing our clients’ life.
Check out at the materiality and elements used to enhance the spaces of our newest Fort Lauderdale interior design project.
The Miami DKOR Design team started the renovation process in the family living room in the Harbor Beach home that was full of collections and large scaled furniture. The design team proposed a clean neutral overhaul with soft draperies and rustic architectural elements. The décor and furnishings will be edited to a few key pieces.
Stay tuned for the next blog post showing the following phases of our interior design project.
