As interior designers, we understand that trends come and go, especially fashion trends. Another thing…
As top interior designers, we used to take care of the aesthetic direction of the kitchen space of a home. The kitchen decoration process not only includes selecting backsplashes, countertops and finishes but also specifying appliances.
Recently Miele’s Coral Gables showroom hosted event by Hearst Design Group invited guests to explore and become familiarized with their luxury appliance brand. The showroom tour guide for the visitors was the designer Wade Allyn, who walked guests through the showroom showing off the appliances top rated features and how he makes them work for his clients.
In interior design, providing functional and elegant appliances that blend seamlessly into the interiors can be a challenge. The key is to understanding our clients’ needs and developing a layout in a kitchen or laundry room that is most beneficial for their lifestyle.
We currently are developing the design for an interior design project in a private condominium in Sunny Isles for a family’s second residence, including the kitchen design and a custom wine room. Often times the condominiums of Miami’s coastline are used for vacationing so selecting appliances better suited for entertaining are more popular.
Miele offers single door refrigeration options that have a small footprint but offer great storage. Clients can opt for refrigeration that is comfortable in a smaller sized kitchen, or select two side by side for more refrigerator space or freezer space is desired. Some nice features of this collection is the custom panel ready convertible hinge, soft close doors, and the fact that each appliance foot print is a narrow 24” Width.
The hidden ingenuity makes Miele a leader in the industry. The appliances are some of the quietest and smartest around. A fun example of hidden ingenuity is the knock to release dishwasher which opens up and drops down with a soft knock on the front of the panel. The Miele G 6000 is one of the cool kitchen gadgets that is really practical for the busy entertaining chef, mom who has only one free hand, or the client who loves the newest and coolest gadgets in their kitchen design.
For our client that we are designing a custom wine room for their family residence in the Sunny Isles condominium, The Chateau, we are most interested in introducing the wine refrigerators that offer seamless integration into the surrounding custom carpentry and under-counter options as well. Stay tuned for this project to see the wine room’s custom carpentry and selected Miele appliances!
