Interior Design 101: The Rendering
As we get ready to present to you the process behind our newest Fort Lauderdale interior design project, we would like to show you the renderings of the home’s exterior. One of the most helpful tools during the interior design process is a rendering – this is the best way for the client to visualize their future space. A tool that when we first started DKOR did not work nearly as well as they do now. Rendering options were limited and most of them looked like a bad case of a home built up in the video game, Mindcraft. Of course there were hand renderings; watercolors and sketches but to be honest, none of us on the team were very good at those. We still have some of the sketches that we presented in the beginning of our company and I chuckle to myself surprised that clients were able to visualize their homes with our presentations. They clearly trusted us. 🙂
Today most of our renderings are done by our extended team members around the world. Sure there’s still a lot of work on our part involved. We typically build up the models in sketch up and then they take it from there. Then we spend time editing them a few times and TADAHH!!
Clearly these special clients got a great rendering of their new Fort Lauderdale interior designed home.
