Once we’ve cemented our design inspiration, we get to work crafting beautiful living spaces. For these clients, who are settling down with their young family for the first time, we were excited to bring our concept—fireflower—to life. Celebrating the blooming of a new beginning, this apartment in the Muse Residences of Sunny Isles Beach will be filled with warmth and love.

And there’s no better place to start than in the entryway. Explore with us the first two interior designs in this elegant family home!

A sea-inspired rug, mirroring the water just out the windows, lays the groundwork for a stylish, welcoming entry. A dark wood veneer ledge is the perfect spot for eye-catching artwork and a slatted mirror. Marble tile lends shine and textured wallcoverings offer depth to the room.

This look is carried down the hallway, and right into the living room.

Living Room Design Intent – Sunny Isles Condo

The living room uses a darker gray than the entryway, creating a cozier vibe, especially when the dark wood veneers are incorporated. Since this is a young family, there’s no doubt the TV would be the center of the living room. But that doesn’t mean the space has to feel like it revolves around a black box.

Custom cabinetry surrounds the TV, complete with backlit shelves to show off items like the clients’ framed travel photos. Instead of the expected paint, or even wallpaper, behind the TV, we’ve installed a Neolith Zaha Stone as a backdrop.

To continue the built-in look, what appears to be a slatted cabinet to the right of the TV is actually the door to the master bedroom. Taking the unseen theme a bit further, the door’s handle is hidden in the slats.

It’s really all in the details in this luxury Sunny Isles condo, so check back as we reveal the design behind even more spaces.
