In today’s blog post, we’re very excited to feature a new light that all of DKOR has fallen in love with; the stunning, award-winning Volver chandelier by the Italian lighting gurus at Terzani. Designed by the talented duo of Diego Bassetti and architect Andrea Panzieri of Studio 14 (protégés of the renowned Bruno Rinaldi), Volver combines painstakingly delicate craftsmanship with the latest in LED technology. It’s more than just a pretty face too; Volver uses dimmable LEDs which makes it energy efficient. What a combination!

After seeing Volver in person, pictures cannot fully describe the way light cascades through its delicate, nickel chains (which are also available in gold, or bronze, or black nickel). It’s luxurious, and you can sense the love that went into making it — impressively, each strand of chain was individually applied by hand. Others have been recognizing Volver’s uniqueness as well. It recently won the International Product Design Awards by Et Al in London in September 2014 and received an Honoree mention at Interior Design’s Best of Year Awards 2014 in NYC.

The version here is the horizontal version (78cm/30.7” high, 132cm/52” long and 30cm/11.8” deep). There’s also a circular version and, for discerning clients, Terzani will create a bespoke version.
