Cozy Yet Sophisticated: A Luxurious Living Room in Hollywood, FL

We are so proud to add this gorgeous luxury home in Hollywood, FL to our interior design portfolio! In this article, we focus on the luxurious living room interior design.

The living room is the centerpiece of this magnificent house, so it’s decor needed to be comfortable and functional as well as stunning. Our goal with this interior renovation project was to create a sophisticated yet cozy area with a luxurious look. A place for its owners to enjoy on a daily basis and entertain guests with style.

THE FLOOR PLAN

Our interior design team came up with a floor plan that encourages conversation and interaction by creating a comfortable, intimate setting with an elevated feel. Their selection of furniture, finishes, accessories and color palette furthered the goal of creating luxurious living room interior design that was both welcoming and elegant.

BEFORE

This is what the living room area looked like prior to our renovation. We wanted to make the sofa and TV area appear less formal and more inviting, while remaining well-suited to luxury living.

AFTER

This is the completed living room interior design. Notice how the layout makes the space appear intimate and welcoming, inviting people to come and hang out for hours! The muted colors with hints of sparkle were the perfect tool for creating a cozy feel combined with elegance. The high-end Rimadesio TV unit helps visually break up the length of the living room wall.

Each unique selection with its own unique details exudes sophistication,  from the subtle mottled silver floor covering to the Niku wallpaper with a hint of metallic shimmer. The recessed ceiling lighting adds a softness that invites intimacy.

WALL SHELF DETAILS

The TV is flanked by a pair of symmetrical open shelves. They provided the perfect opportunity to add pops of color, unusual shapes and a little bit of whimsy. The subdued backlighting accentuates the bright tones and adds softness to the living room decor.

MUTED COLOR PALETTE

The team selected a window treatment that was both cozy and sophisticated. The soft pleats and neutral color of the floor-to-ceiling window treatments are the ideal finish to this picture of luxurious living that is also intimate and inviting.

The glossy sheen of the built-in side table blends beautifully with the neutral-colored pillows, throws and couch, a combination that is guaranteed to highlight both a sophisticated yet comfy look.
