Creating the modern tropical design that now adorns our clients’ Fort Lauderdale residence was an amazing and fun experience for our design team. From the moment we presented the design concept dubbed “tropical festival of life”, we knew this home would be a very special one!

Each space in the home is designed as an exciting adventure, where tropical vibes reign supreme. The result is a home design packed with colors, organic texture, and accent pieces that create unique moments.

“We asked Ivonne and Anahi to create a home in which people would feel the happiness of being away from it all, as they would during a perfect vacation,” Nicole says. “It is a beautiful place in which to entertain, as it encourages what I call a barefoot nonchalance that gives us and our friends a place to slow down and take a breath.

We were already so in love with this project. Then, it got better! Last week, we learned that our Fort Lauderdale residence project was selected to be featured as the cover article on the May-June issue of Palm Beach + Broward’s Luxe Interiors + Design Magazine.

Luxe Interiors + Design Magazine has always been one of our favorite interior design magazines; it’s an inspirational resource for all our team. So, when we found out the amazing news our excitement went through the roof!

Written by Saxon Henry, the cover article—”Tropical Punch”—shares the backstory of the Fort Lauderdale residence our clients lovingly call “the coconut house.” Alongside the article are stunning photos of the home by New York-based photographer and visual artist, Nick Johnson.

“I often find myself being moved by the emotion of color and texture in the home as I travel from room to room,” Nicole says. “In each room, there is an undertone of serenity, even in the spaces that are bolder.”
