Bathroom Makeover: A Chic Modern Master in Hollywood, Florida

Step inside one of our latest home renovation projects in Hollywood, Florida where our theme of sophisticated modern luxury flows throughout every corner. We’ve already revealed the living room, kitchen and common areas in this home and today, we’re taking a peek at the master bathroom makeover.

While bathrooms are highly functional spaces, they are also so important in setting the tone for the day. For that reason, we wanted this master bath to feel both serene and cozy. Like the other rooms in this Hollywood, FL home, you’ll find a cool gray color palette offset by beautiful white marble.

Matte black fixtures, a cozy faux fur chair, an indulgent freestanding bathtub and lots of fluffy towels add a luxurious touch that makes this bathroom makeover feel like it belongs in a 5-star hotel. Most importantly, there’s an effortless flow between the bedroom and the bath, making both spaces feel more expansive and inviting.

BEFORE

Before our bathroom makeover, there was a teal and green animal theme featuring white cabinets, spotted wallpaper and a large rug on the floor. By paring the room down and incorporating elegant neutrals and warm wood, our renovation feels more modern as well as larger.

AFTER

The finished result – isn’t it stunning? When you enter the bathroom from the large door connecting to the bedroom, you’ll find this perfect prep area, which includes dual basins with sleek faucets. We’ve added dark wooden veneer cabinets on either side, which frame the sinks and provide much-needed storage space.

Instead of keeping the two small mirrors from before, we opted for one large mirror that takes up the entirety of the wall and makes the area feel more open and spacious. A small vanity provides a dreamy space to put on makeup.

We installed a shelf under the sink area for fluffy towels – they are now easy to grab and look so chic lined up!

Accent furniture like this little side table add a contemporary and artistic pop of interest, coordinating with other decorative pieces throughout the home.

To accentuate the pampering nature of this room, we brought in an ultra inviting freestanding oval bathtub that is ready to provide a long soak. The additional shelving above the bathtub also provides a spot to place towels as well as decorative vases, shampoo bottles, and more.

Adding another point of interest, the statement light fixtures in the bathroom give our clients choices on how to light the room according to their needs. The sconces and pendant light will provide more ambiance and be easier on the eyes in the morning and night than recessed lighting.
