Here at DKOR we are always searching for ways to adding some life to our work space as we’re sure you find yourself doing as well. In hopes to give you inspiration we’d like to share how we’ve done it in our Miami Interior design firm and in some of our residential interior design projects.
First we’ve used a standard white wooden box. Nothing special, just a white box that is tall and wide enough to house an already potted plant from your local nursery.
We place small nail heads inside the upper area of the box, all on the same level so that once we place the plant inside we can surround it with a wire mesh that is cut out to fit the exact size of the wooden box planter.
Place the plant in the planter and tightly surround the plant with the wire mesh.
Once the mesh is in place, you can fill the top area with a decorative lining of your choice. We used white spray painted wood chips.
