FLORAL-INSPIRED GUEST BEDROOM DESIGN

In this article, we feature an inspiring guest bedroom design that is part of our “Fort Lauderdale Traditional Home” new construction project.

Our interior design team in Fort Lauderdale created a new custom home design that was inspired by a rose. Our client wanted our team to design several guest bedrooms for her large family, which included grandchildren.

Keeping the home’s floral design inspiration in the forefront, our interior designers created a guest bedroom design with a warm and subtle atmosphere, filled with soft and delicate tones.

The first thing you notice as you enter the bedroom is the elegant, intricately detailed “Shapira” wallpaper by Romo that livens up the room, infusing it with a unique personality with its beautiful and delicate floral pattern. It depicts graceful flowering magnolias in a mix of pastel and neutral colors.

Neutrals adorn both the bed and bedding. The winged camelback headboard and footboard accented with nailhead trim add sophistication. The bedding provides a neutral backdrop to the soft brownish pink and pastel hued pillows.

We added twin nightstands with vertical reeded detailing to each side of the bed. Their rustic vibe and simple lines were the perfect complement to the design scheme. We accented them with matching table lamps with a sculptural glass base in calming, neutral tones.

BEDROOM’S BATHROOM

We extended the soothing colors of the overall design to the guest bathroom. Its subtle gray and blue tones were accented with bright brass shower fixtures and gold mirror frame for a little bit of sparkle. The vertical patterns used throughout highlight the high ceiling.
