NEW DKOR Interior Design Project Reveal: Contemporary Fort Lauderdale Penthouse
DKOR Interiors Project Update: Contemporary Fort Lauderdale Penthouse Photos Just Released
We’re at it again! We are so happy to announce that photos of our latest Ft. Lauderdale interior design project are now live on the PORTFOLIO page.
“A Fort Lauderdale Waterfront Penthouse” was started over a year ago and is a very special project. This home underwent a stunning transformation from a traditional interior to a transitional and contemporary penthouse in the sky. The interior design concept stems around OLD world elements breaking through NEW world components. Our clients came to us with a beautiful and extensive collection of Pre-Colombian artifacts that were to be incorporated as the focus of the interior design thought process. Our goal was to lighten the space and add freshness by incorporating design elements of simplistic lines, architectural details and reflections. A subtle emphasis on the principal of connection was the main concept. You see this in the wood vs. white carpentry, solid vs. void, extruding pieces vs. recessed, texture vs. flat and light vs. dark. We made sure to showcase the cultural significance of each old-world piece and give a sense of home to the space without losing sight of the contemporary design.
Whats most special about all of our interior design projects is that the concepts and style stem from our clients. This is what ensures that all of our projects are different. Its also makes the journey and the final result unique. In this project you can clearly the style of our clients as well as their passion for Colombian Artifacts.
Take a look at the project photos below – we hope you love them as much as we do!
